[Movie Review] Beavis and Butt-head Do America

Beavis and Butt-Head do AmericaStarring: Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Robert Stack, Eric Bogosian
Director: Mike Judge
Genre: Comedy
Cert: 15
Released: 1996

When Beavis and Butt-head awake to find that their TV is stolen (futile presses of the remote control convince them it’s the case) they jump in to action to find the thief. A chance encounter with Muddy (voiced by Bruce Willis) sees then mistaken for two hired assassins. Muddy offers them $10,000 to “do” his wife. Convinced that they are going to get some action (“Butt-head: “we’re finally going to score!”) they set off for Las Vegas where Muddy’s wife Dalls (voiced by Demi Moore) sends them to DC with a mini-nuclear device. Now FBI Agent Flemming (voiced by Robert Stack) is on their tail and with Bill Clinton in the White House who knows what’s going to happen.

One-joke cartoon it may be but Mike Judge has done a solid job – just don’t “do” a sequel, Mike. Huh huh…
